The Movie Battles II team is always on the lookout for talented community members to help out.
All team members work on a voluntary basis however working on a volunteer project like this will look great on a CV if you are interested in pursuing a career in an associated industry!

You may be asked to provide a sample of previous relevant work as part of your application, so it would be great if you can prepare something.
Don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes as a technical ability is less important than having a team-working attitude and a willingness to learn! Even if you are not sure you have all the skills, you can still apply. Your skills and attitude will be evaluated against the current needs and status within the Development Team.

- Debugging existing issues
- Providing community support on bugs and issues, providing code support to the rest of the Development team.

- Game play experience of MBII
- Knowledge of C# and Microsoft .NET
- Win32 Programming & Platform Experience

Level Designer (Mapper)

Responsibilities:
- Designing and Producing new maps
- Bug fixing existing maps
- Designing and Producing game play improvements to existing maps
Required Skills:
- Artistic Flair
- MBII Gameplay Experience
- Good team skills - ability to work with others
- GTK Radiant Experience
- Q3A Engine Mapping Experience
- Knowledge of Q3A Entities
- ICARUS scripting knowledge
- Static model design
3D or 2D Artist (Modeler, UI Artist)

- Designing & Creating World Elements
- Designing & Creating character models
- Providing art support to level designers
- Designing and Creating 3D models to support new feature implementations
- Providing textures for 3D world elements
- Providing textures for maps
- Providing 2D art work for UI
- Producing Promotional Material - including Stills and Videos
Required Skills:
- Artistic Flair
- Ability to produce good looking designs within application performance constraints
- Able to use a chosen 3D art package capable of producing models compatible with Q3A/JKA
- Able to use a chosen package to produce striking & professional visuals
- MBII Gameplay Experience
- Good team skills - ability to work with others
- 3D Art experience
- Experience producing 3D Models for Q3A/JKA
- Knowledge of JKA Tools
- Ability to model, unwrap AND texture your own models, i.e. the whole pipeline.
Animator
Number of positions: no limit
Type of position: Developer
Responsibilities:
- Producing character animations
Required Skills:
- XSI Mod Tool, 3D Studio Max 5 or Blender 2.62 w/ GLM plugins
- Experience with GLA merge
- JKA Animating Experience
- Able to use a chosen package to produce professional animations
- Good team skills - ability to work with others
FA Designer
Number of positions: no limit
Type of position: Developer
Responsibilities:
- Creating Full Authentic designs for new maps
- Improving and maintaining Full Authentic designs for existing maps
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of FA editing
- Good knowledge of MBII game play
- Balancing game play with limited feedback
- Good team skills - ability to work with others
- Model skinning experience
- Character modelling knowledge
