I have been using the MBII client for the launcher for ages and I want to use the JAMP client due to it's steam integration. However, launching the game with steam integration and the JAMP client doesn't seem to work. Here is what happens step by step
  1. Press Play
  2. JAMP console appears. Text is moving.
  3. Movie Battles 2 splash screen appears. (4:3 aspect ratio, if that's important.)
  4. Screen goes black.
  5. Windows comes up with error "Jedi Academy MultiPlayer has stopped working" (see image below)

I made sure to log the launcher. Below is the log.

TRIGGERED
It has been discussed many, many times. Intel videos cause problems and crashes in MBII, especially when jamp is used to run the mod.

You should install other drivers (maybe even drivers for older Windows; see links below), or get a real videocard.
AReResearch - Andy Reischle: Windows 10 (nearly) broke my Intel 4 Series Express graphics adapter
Windows 10 - Mobile Intel 4 Series Chipset Graphics Drivers

Also try repairing your installation -- who knows, maybe it's broken.

Also try editing jamp's config ("Jedi Academy\GameData\MBII\jampconfig.cfg") and set resolution equal to your native screen resolution.
Values to edit: r_mode, r_customwidth, r_customheight.

Alright I'll try all of this. This problem is only temporary as I'm away from home and using a laptop. I will update with results soon.
