    Hi, I have been playing MBII for months and in june or july of last year the game stopped working due to an error where it reads "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue the application will close immediatly. Cannot create a file when that file already exists." I'm on the steam version and tried deleted Jedi Academy, deleting the files for MBII and downloading them again, and doing a manual restart on the data. It won't let me play if I click continue and it will only let me quit the application. Can anyone help me fix this issue. I haven't been able to play since.

    I believe there is "Details" button that brings additional text box that shows more information about the exception.
    Click that button and copy-paste all the information here, without any skips and omissions.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    Delete these folders:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Jedi Academy\GameData\MBII_Launcher
    C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\Movie_Battles_Team

    Delete this file:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Jedi Academy\GameData\temp.exe

    When you start Launcher after that, it will say that Movie Battles isn't installed.
    Just click Install, Launcher won't attempt to redownload files already on your drive, so it will not take a lot of time.

    It's taking a while to install but so far it's good. I'll update this when it's done downloading.

    Apologize for the late response. It works and I've been playing it for a while. Today it had the same error and I fixed it real quick. Hopefully the error won't happen again. Thank you for helping me.
