I am in need of some help

So I just downloaded MovieBattles II but everytime I try and join a server it says

"Error:
Sever disconnected: quit
Please start the game via
launcher and keep it running"


I don't know how to fix it
I have restarted the game
kept the game running before trying to join again
but it won't work
can anyone please help me?

It means to keep the MBII launcher running in the background because the launcher is the anticheat, so servers with anticheat require it.

I have the launcher in the background but it still wont work :/
