Hosting Server how to fix this server startup error?

I believe this file does not exist if it is the first time you are making a server and have yet to ban/whitelist anyone. So should be normal for it to not be there.

the dudes who started their server have no such file either.

Like I said, probably need to ban someone for it to appear. So nothing to worry about. I start a server daily for dev stuff, and I don't have that file because there is no reason to ban someone from my servers on dev builds.

Can you try to create the file banIP.dat aswell as making sure it has the required permission for reading/writting
the file should be in the same folder as your server.cfg

It worked, but the server still didn't start
According to the console output the server did initialize. If it's not showing up, it could be a variety of other problems. (Network, config...)
