how do i fix the "launcher is not able to check for new version" problem

every time I open the mod It says launcher is not able to check new version and when I press ok I press install then I press play but it takes me into the normal version of the game instead of the mod please help ~ yames

I'm no expert but have you.

1) Launched as Administrator
2) Have the most recent Launcher
3) Set your file path correctly?

Check your firewall, if any. Maybe it blocks launcher.

Launcher > Settings > -Change JAMP to MBII Client.

Just change file extension to ".txt" (if it's not already), then use "Upload a File" button just at bottom of reply text box.

Or, open log, copy all text, then paste it to Pastebin.com - #1 paste tool since 2002! , post link to this thread. Something like this: New Model Paths - Pastebin.com
And did you tried what I did suggest before?

Also, what JA version do you have? It must be patched to 1.01.
