Launcher Having trouble getting MBII Launcher to install on Ubuntu

It's stating the file isn't there. That means you haven't installed openjk.
really? I can launch the base game just fine from openjk, but when im on openjk and want to load the mod it doesnt fully load the mod. It starts up but then closes out of the mod to the ja start menu.

It's stating the file isn't there. That means you haven't installed openjk of the right version (guessing you got the 64 bit build or something).

EDIT: You need to run the shell command from GameData. You're running it from your home folder. Of course it won't work.
how do i do that?

Most Linux file managers let you right click in a directory and do something like "open terminal here...". Or use the command cd with an argument for the path of the directory you want to change to.

Are you new to Linux?
