GTK Radiant 1.4.X VS 1.5.X

I messed around with GTK Radiant a while back, and I'm trying to get back into it. Now there's two versions that are 'compatible' with JKA. In your guys' experience, does either version have any issues or problems that would make you avoid it? I don't want to shoot myself in the foot before I start.

Use 1.6. 1.4 has compatibility issues with 1.5 especially with triangles. 1.5 has wonky ways of doing things that don't make any sense. 1.6 is the most solid based off of 1.4 but is missing some good 1.5 features.
