Technical Issue Getting under 1 FPS, when a new player entering a game in Duel Mode

The title says the problem. This 1 FPS lag can cause you to fail the duel.

this is known issue. its the same kind of lag you get at the start of rounds in open.

did a little research into it and found this. Might help devs understand a little more on whats going on?
