Ever since the new launcher update, lots of people have been suffering disconnects from running supposedly "unauthorized programs".
What are those unauthorized programs you ask?
I've done some testing and discord/skype appear to be one of them. By going into task manager (crl+alt+del), going into "processes" and manually disabling discord and/or skype, my game runs fine now. I don't know if this is the right board or if I have the right tags for this specific kind of thread, this is my first posting after all, but here's the solution for anyone that needs it.
Everyone's computer is different, but it appears the 1.5.3 doesn't like background programs running except steam.
