The base game does allow a higher FoV value, but it is limited in MB:II.

I recall having a pack or file installed back in the day that allowed you to increase the FOV more than normal, but I can't recall what it was or how it worked. It essentially allowed me to edit my camera beyond what was normal. It would be nice if the FOV could be extended a little further than it is now, but I don't see that happening.

Unfortunately, it would be. Then again, it could be made so that it doesn't go past a certain point, but I doubt that would be ethical gameplay wise.
Got something similar, so maybe I will not need to open other thread. I come from past, like from 17b or 18b build. Absolutely crucial for me is auto going from 1st person view to 3rd person when switching to melee/sabers? Seams like I cant find this option now. I see just P button and is not enough.
