Technical Issue Crashing on Server Join (Mac)

Hey Peeps, so, recently, at the exact same time as some people started getting a few days ago (Something to do with an Observer model loading failure), My MB2 started crashing every time I join a server, the loading bar finishes, and the game, like clockwork, just Crashes to Desktop.

Have any other Mac users had this issue?, if so, any fixes?
Including an image what appears to be the specific section thats failing.

So far I have attempted screwing about with most all settings, re-applied the most recent hot fix and I've Completely nuked all my Jedi Academy and MBII files and Clean reinstalled it twice, but none of this has worked.

I am not able to tell exactly what is the source of the issue but for other devs:
it's most likely related to "DEFAULT_MODEL (%s) failed to register".
On Windows it'd got printed into a small console with the game shut down.
Unfortunately there are not handlers for fatal errors on other systems.

Update: Right, So, I'm still not sure what the original issue really was, However out of just it being the only thing left I realised I hadn't tried, I reset all my options to defaults, and that seems to have fixed it...
