Technical Issue Connection Interrupted just before the game starts

I can join matches just fine, but when the game is about to start the message 'CONNECTION INTERRUPTED' appears on the screen and forces me to be spectator.

Here are my connection settings:
Snaps: 40
Rate: 25000
cl_maxpackets: 100
FPS Cap: 120

I know my internet isn't the issue as every other multiplayer game works fine except for Movie Battles 2

Any help is appreciated
