Technical Issue Cant join any matches

So i launch the mod fine from steam but then i will automatically be put onto the spectator team when i join. I hit the escape key and then click join, I get to pick my class and skin and distribute points normally. Once im finished with that i will hit apply and then click okay (which when hovered over says join game) but it just doesnt do anything and im back as a spectator. I can switch through player views and free move around the map as a spectator but i cant actually play the game. Is there any fix for this?

Reconnect, restart launcher, restart game, reselect your class and skin, switch between different classes on both rebs and imps
