Can't grip onto walls?

Just a quick post. Need help with something.

Sometimes I jump into the pits in death star and I can't grip onto the walls with Jump3.
I am very weary about jumping into the pits because sometimes I can grip, and the other times I just fall and die.

Is there certain ways if you jump that you won't be able to grip onto the walls?

Does anyone have the same issue?

i think it depends on how fast you are going. however you can wallrun at any speed to save your self. Also if you are a gunner with no T21 or clone blob on DS. You can crouch roll from the middle of the bridge to the top lip of the tractor beam and take little to no dmg

How do you wall run? I've done it accidentally a few times but forgot.

double tap space while running towards a wall. it will only trigger at the bottom of the wall so it has to be precise
