Its been like that since 1.6 at least ALA this tutorial thread.It doesn't say anything about plain crouching. Attacking, taking hits, or doing neither – simply crouching stops BP regeneration, and only that alone does. If you try to move while crouching, BP starts going up again.
That's the way it should work.You regenerate block points automatically so long as you are walking, blocking or standing still. Crouching, running, holding mblock (see Mblocking section) and jumping will all inhibit the regeneration of block points.
Oh you got me stumped there from my understanding its not supposed to do that either huh.That's the way it should work.
I feel there is a misunderstanding, i must be describing the situation poorly, i'll try my best.
Running, crouching, holding attack key (with block for MB or not), whatever, should stop regeneration of BP points, no matter what else you do at the same time with it. So if you crouch and move around while still crouching, it should not allow you to regenerate Blocking Points, but it does allow you to do that.
