I have recently opened a server named PROJ Heaven, which features soldiers and heroes/bounty hunters only, on the um_ctf_narshaddaa map.
All snipers have about 18~ seconds to respawn, and the fillers are the soldier classes who aren't interested in sniping but instead playing the objective.

The RTV leads to all CTF maps, this should be useful for players interested in infinitely sniping and getting better at their sniping skill, within eight minute rounds.

The Nar Shaddaa map seemed to be the best choice for default, given the many angles and such.

Hey guys, the server is up for this project but it is now named Lair of the Ancients. Our content is officially in the uMad content assets pack!

I've been wanting to appeal to a lot of older audiences lately: who like their mix of base gameplay but with MBII's advances.
The server features a lot of base models, weapons, base JKA movement speed; and bunny hopping.
There's a complex number of FA classes to choose from, all silly and powerful in their own way.
Equally balanced against more serious and devastating ones.

With the help of Jaktan and FrenZy, we've added two new maps, originally made and ported by Arbok:
um_ctf_darkandlight (originally known as AODL)
um_ctf_dfarena (originally known as TheDuel)

Featuring extensive class point buy (that admittedly still does need some work) we've reached a functional design that a lot of players seem to enjoy, that brings a lot of core base features and taking advantage of the latest powerful additions of Release 20th and Legends 2.0:

Class special changes and general class feedback can be directed to our discord, which I would very much appreciate.

The server can RTV to any CTF map, and this modified version of Custom Legends can work on NON CTF maps as well, but you'd likely need one of our admins to do so. Respawns are tailored specifically around a catered balance in mind, that could still use some work.


Recent changelogs: ~ 8/3/2024
FP_LEVITATION,2 and walljump given to all gunners with VERY low FP in order to traverse CTF maps, and create a new skill ceiling for players,
MB_ATT_FLIP_KICK,2 given to all generic gunners, to get the heat off you in this fast paced action,
All original models from alpha testing versions replaced instead with ones from base for the sake of vintage,
Unique walk animation with saber out, akin to the movement of the original Dark Forces, but isn't too clunky,
Projectile Rifle now fires two shots, by the request of some,
Enemies are disintegrated when killed by the projectile rifle,
SBD is given wrist rockets and a way to knock down bhoppers too close to them,
Support Jedi/Sith increased class limits from 1->2,
Support Jedi/Sith given bunny hop and float hop, with NOBP jumps,
Gets rid of dodge from the buy menu (it was already removed),
Removed reinforcements from point buy menu,
Grunts given 3 lives by default,
Increased cost of all nades exponentially (no more nade spam without deep investment),
Increased SBD and Wookie respawn time by 5->15K ms,
Increased general respawn time by 5->10K ms,
Cleaned up point buy redundancy,
Disruptor given ability to charge (disruptor 2, whoopsie!),
Grunts, Medics, and Snipers are given BH kick (special2),
Trip mines given to Grunts,
Rally given to Medic class.

All classes have functional pistol (3).
All classes aside from SBD is bhop & float hop compatible.
All classes have color coded blaster shots relevant to their team, minus some classes.
Every class has a unique balance and are able to counteract each other.
This mode is agile enough to evade most difficult opponents that'd prove too stubborn otherwise.
Everyone moves at (1.25x) base speed, some classes are hardcoded with different impacts of speed, and in future updates we will attempt to compensate.

INTRODUCING two new classes-
(ty FrenZy)

SCOUT & ENGINEER

SCOUT => Fast pace, faster moving, agile character with lower health and different arsenal. They're the key towards delivering your flag.
ENGINEER => Fast moving, very weak, pesky jawas and ugnaughts, expert tinkerers who augment the battlefield with their gadget silliness.

Engineers and Scouts have an additional life. Each of these classes have two class limits, and can be adjusted according to feedback.
Both classes are able to functionally fight with model replaced sabers, accompanying missing styles from support jedi: but with virtually 0 saber defense.

WEAPONS available in this FA from base-

Flechette Shotgun,
Imperial Repeater,
Concussion Rifle,
DEMP2,
Trip Mines.

All highly tuned down & customized within their weaponinfo {} to reach a certain level of acceptable balance.

(I understand a great deal of people are frustrated with the EAS_HI_> bind system, or with change overall, I am open minded to comfortable changes.)
(This INFO is to currently help you in the meantime, to maximize your fun experience!)
(JUST because they weren't configured before, doesn't mean they'd work without these. Legends 2.0 FA changes require you configure keybinds for your own work.)

If you've playtested a lot of my other stuff, it's possible you will encounter desync issues.

Move this into another subdirectory so it isn't read by the engine:

MBII/z_zz_mb2_sup_assets.pk3

Example:
Move to -> MBII/takeout/z_zz_mb2_sup_assets.pk3

You should be able to play now.

Made a neat sabers SFX pack using Dark Forces II 16-bit sounds, personally I think it pairs pretty well.
Parry and clashing sounds could be inverted IMO.
