The playerbase is dying (new players quit after less than a day). Tk system alterations has just made matters worse, server admins give zero fucks and/or are powerless and the entire game and community is now a meme.

What are you going to do about it? Or is this the end?

The skill ceilling diminish because the new players are not only younger but also attracted by something else than the previous batch/generation. Now they mostly come after seeing fun video, and not much because it's a balanced competitive game.

Yes, it's sad! And not only very few are trying to do something, but the handful that remains usually creates factions and social issues. So in the end it's what I call a self-destructive community.

But let's keep working, with good efforts we can hope for a better future.

Yes I actively try to obliterate new players when I see them. It creates animosity and grudges that are great for player longevity.

What are you going to do about it?

Well right now were roughly 3x the player count of 12 years ago, so doing pretty well. However, the MB team is working on number of things to spruce things up in the next few months (see roadmap class stuff), and the next year or two should hopefully be a pretty big promotional year for us now that some things are starting to align.

Just one thing everyone has to remember, mb2 player count comes in waves usually with SW content. Though there has been a bit of SW content burnout lately with how much theyve been pumping out.
