Is the server up to date, including all hotfixes?

Your servers name and IP address would be helpful. If it is on Launcher's list and the websites list then it is probably some problem on the client. Have you asked other people if they can see the server on the ingame list? Can you directly connect using the ip address in the console?

The linux guides should be accurate despite their age. Launcher and Windows Emulation via WINE (Or any other emulator) are not required.

This is almost certainly being blocked by anti-virus. Whitelist launcher and you should be fine.

Did you get a new crash log?

Use the MSI to repair the installation. One of the required dlls is missing.

You need to use the linux version of OpenJK that is in the download zip. There should be a shell script to launch directly into the mod from there. You can use the crossplatform updater to fulfill launcher's patching capabilities.

Have you got the latest version of Launcher?

I have reverted back to the old format manifest. Hopefully the problem should be resolved now.
