You can add to command line of your server: +set logfile 3 You'll get a new log called qconsole.log. Maybe it will fit your needs. this solved my problem thanks. sry for replying late

no it still doesnt work no idea why.... it would be enough for me actually just to log everything what i see in cmd terminal while server is running. its also much easier to read anyway. after some research, apperantly its not possible to watch and record the output from a batch file or...

yes that made the logs more readable but i have now a different problem...after i deleted serverlog and restarted the server, new serverlog.txt is created but its empty. players joined and left but nothing in the log. shouldnt info immediately appear in log?

so my serverlogs saved as .txt but its impossible to find anything what im looking for as the data isnt sorted. is there a way or any tool to sort out the txt file? thanks!

thanks i did that. everything running perfectly except that i cant see the server under "internet" but no big deal, server is visible and which are rcon commands and how do i login as rcon? and does it allow me to change values such as "g_allowVote" without changing server.cfg and restarting...

ok then as long as i can join it and its listed last question then i guess im done. where can i find admin commands? i searched but couldnt find. there are 15 ppl already (everybody left cuz of laming =/) and i want to prevent people with high ping joining, i guess i do that by altering values...

so i could connect to my server under LOCAL and there are really people playing in it but still have no idea how they found my server because its not listed.

LOL there are 3 players in my server minutes after its up. they are apperantly playing and talking but i cant see the server thats weird =D

yes bishop-pc is the computer. windows firewall is controlled by ESET. never used torrents or ran http server. ill find out about the NAT, ill read that link and do some more reasearch then ill come back to you

very strange things happened. so i inserted a port exception to my firewall/antivirus (eset smart security 8) after starting server firewall detected ingoing and outgoing communication in port 29070 and i allowed both (i think either of them was 29062 cant remember should take a screenshot =/)...

router: speedport w 724v its from my provider i use mbIIserver.bat to launch .\jampDed +set dedicated 2 +set net_port 29070 +set fs_game mbii +exec server.cfg .\MBIIServer server.cfg saved under MBII

sv_master1 is master.moviebattles.org removed jacklul from 5.master replaced it with master2.moviebattles.org still no success

i changed and tried again, doesnt work =/ also added jacklul as 5. master server is still listed under favorites
