Question!!!! Question!! Before, to get ap, you had to get body-hits. Which were hits that hit the body and weren't perfect blocked. What happens now? If I don't perfect block an attack by changing my camera angle...but it only strikes the end of my saber and not my body, does the enemy still...

Been playing a game recently that has near exactly this. Correctly time a block right, a perfect parry, your next attack does double damage while the opponent is slowed/stunned. Though, one thing I did think of while reading this regarding combo spams...why not make each successive swing...

The current pb system only further encourages combo spams. It's too easy to use against simple attacks; too easy to abuse against simple blocks. :) And I'm really not a fan of the pb crosshair aiming. For me it ruins immersion and is jarring. Easy enough to do once you know where to aim, boils...

They had absorb which pretty much negated all the badass force powers. And protect. I could see protect maybe working. Cons - Would cost X amount to use, no force regeneration until status effect wore off. Pros - Triples Damage reduxion and gives cortosis! Tank that sniper bullet to the head...

You mean force drain? Maybe give force drain to jedi without the healing benefits. Then they just drain force. And drain the will of gunners so they can't shoot:) A no dmg lightning. Yolo.:)

^ In open mode jedi only have one life for the round. Duel mode and Fa modes on certain maps grant you respawns.

There's a few other ways you could implement it. You could make it a line of sight ability(Think Dracula's hypnotic eyes:)), much like force sight destruction works in pb and I guess fa? You turn it on, it dmgs ur target, in this case, it dazes them so long as you keep them in your reticule...

Moar: :) Force Slow - Slows all players, physical projectiles so long as the jedi channels it. Think of it as an area effect grip that does no damage and does not paralyze opponents ability to attack. Just slows them down. Force Disguise - the fa ability. Force Blind - a variation of FA...
