I disagree on that. There could also be positive effects on enthusiastic people getting to try it first. When the casuals arrive, the people that already had tested many things can explain and teach how the stuff works in the new system. Especially helpful when some people don't read the patch...

Just do it the same way as you did with CTF, with the new launcher beta. But its pointless to do it that way at this point I guess.

Yeah like I said before, the open beta should've been be up before the launcher is finished (and I remember you thinking so too) so we could have more time to test it and later have more people come over to test with the new launcher.

I was under the impression that the duel build was ready for open beta but you decided to make ctf your priority and run ctf open beta first. Which is a shame seeing how it died shortly after release. There is not even official ctf servers
