Check if your openjk.cfg in your MBII path (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Jedi Academy\GameData\MBII) is not read only, if you see the binds the way you set them ingame in the config but on the next startup it's gonna be default, try "exec openjk" in console.

FYI: The issue for him no longer exists since he created a new thread about binds - so it seems like he managed to get into the game alright at the end. If I'm wrong you can always reply

If you were to go here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Jedi Academy\GameData\MBII or any other path you have to your MBII folder, and open "openjk.cfg" Make sure you have: seta cg_thirdPerson "1"
