My only guess is that you have too high of a ping to be able to connect, or since it's a different port than 29070, maybe you need to open your 29072 port?

What happens when you do /connect 66.151.244.207:29072 in console

Class configs for FA are made with .mbch files. You can check the wiki for more in-depth info, or message me on steam I can help you/do it for you. I'm pretty sure loading screens are saved as pictures and then are referenced to be shown.

Maybe it's one of the enhanced effects. Try setting that to high? Make sure all of your visual options are to the highest
