Now this starts to run into playing movie battles 2 on mac we have almost the same problems but maybe just maybe you can try running the game with JKJALaunch with the command "set fs_game mbii". Tell me if it works. This is the same way I got MBII to work on mac with an easy fix.

Also before you even install MBII you should have made sure you had not of installed any mods,skin packs, etc which are still within the Jedi Academy Base folder. If no ones guides still don't work all I can tell you is,reinstall windows fully, once you have Jedi Academy and steam back plz...

Send a screenshot of it. You most likely have some corrupted files either in MBII or Jedi Academy.

Ever tried to reinstall Movie Battles II or repair launcher? Those could be a fix but devs will get back to you. Thats odd never happened to me.

Since spins in 1.5.1.1 are no longer viable should i just resort to hard yaws?

Hard to say because ive been dueling for a bit now and i have recognized that lots of duelers rely on pbing when they are low. Basically pbing and gaining bp is good reward because either the swing can be yawed really hard,spinned, or mixed up patterns can be very hard to pb at times.
