It looks like your download was corrupted actually. If you upload the MBIILauncher.exe that has been downloaded to this site Online MD5 Hash Generator & SHA1 Hash Generator and see what it's MD5 is. It should be C9B600984B92C26CE78B9D4AD5389E77. Any other value indicates a corrupted download.

Is the AutoUpdater running as an administrator? That error message means exactly what it says. Access Denied when trying to load the new Launcher

I have updated the first post with a workaround for the Minimiser. Please let me know if this works and i'll get a code fix for the scenario pushed out.

Can you post a screenshot of any error messages?

Create a folder under GameData called MBII. That's a known bug I've already got a fix for. But want to roll out the minimiser fix at the same time.

Strange thing is the Minimiser wasn't touched at all. Working on a fix - possible work around is to switch to Windowed mode and then back to full screen. This seems to help the Minimiser find the right window.

The error message suggests that the downloaded file is being corrupted. Anti-Viruses are the most common reason why this might happen (They lock the file to check it and don't release it quickly enough). Can you take a screenshot of whats in the folder where your launcher is at the moment...

Have you tried disabling your anti-virus during update?

It's a false positive. You'll have to white list it or wait for Bitdefender to actually analyse it and work out it's not what it's malicious.

I'm getting this too - I have updated the first post with instructions for manual installations. If this continues to be a problem I will disable the update prompt until we can develop a fix.

No need. The download links are still for the old Launcher until im sure everything is smooth. Just decline the updated launcher.

This isn't by design Ok - missed that check box. Will remove it for the future. There is no way to disable file verification but it will only verify files that it hasn't see at the correct version.
