As far as I'm aware there were some muzzle point alterations made specifically for the mando wrist laser - but more of these could have been made to other guns or generally I think
Flinch cancelled a jedi or sith swing if they were shot during the animation. The main problem of flinch is that the saberist could instantly swing again in range so you needed to hit nearly every shot if they got close in to your face
I really want to see a load of different ideas for tackling drains, knockback, flinch, etc being thrown out to public beta tests to see what actually works or not
All you guys that are Open mode veterans should apply for the beta team - we could really do with some experienced voices who know the full scope of the games development to help make decisions and opinions
Deka can still do well in open though - a good player anyway. It isn't a class designed for 1v1s - often the deka would have assists and the jedi wouldn't be at full fp to begin with.
I don't think it's in need of a buff exactly but knockback changes cant come soon enough for the class
There are a lot of new/noob duelists joining recently so that might be why you are encountering worse ppl
There is a chat filter option in settings however i'm not entirely sure what it blocks,
You can always /ignore I guess
