    Is Moviebattles 2 dying?

Low Playerbase It Seems the mod is somewhat Dead after v1.4.5 It was said so many times that "MBII is dying", over and over again. I don't think anybody can take such statement seriously now. Though it also may cause that when Movie Battles will be is about to die for real, nobody will believe...

Launcher z_Free(): Corrupt zone header! (Have tried every solution listed in the FAQ)

Stop reinstalling it over and over again, reinstalling isn't key to everything. I've uploaded a zip file here; download it, unpack to GameData folder. Launch "mbii jamp.bat". Movie Battles should successfully run after that. If the game still crashes, make sure that error still is "Z_Free()"...

Launcher z_Free(): Corrupt zone header! (Have tried every solution listed in the FAQ)

Are you sure you properly renamed jasp.exe to jamp.exe and jamp.exe to jasp.exe? Try it again, it should work. If that won't work, place jasp.exe and jamp.exe into single archive file (zip or rar) and upload that file to this thread. If you won't able to upload an archive by whatever reason...

Launcher z_Free(): Corrupt zone header! (Have tried every solution listed in the FAQ)

You didn't. I think you didn't even read an entry about z_free at all, otherwise you wouldn't get single-player running instead of multi-player. Read it. Rename files manually if really needed.

Obviosly you *didn't* try solutions from my faq. Windows technical FAQ/troubleshooting guide Scroll to Z_Free and read CAREFULLY.

Launcher MBII Launcher wont even open

That whole thing is ridiculous. First, if had you Launcher correctly placed in GameData folder, and you couldn't play because you got kicked every time, you shouldn't move it to any other folder. You had to come to these forums and make a thread about that specific error. Second, "weird error...

Launcher Can't find the Movie Battles II launcher. Can't run game on steam. Please help.

Even if you're installing Movie Battles via Launcher, Launcher won't move itself to "GameData" folder. You must move MBIILauncher.exe from downloads folder to "Jedi Academy\GameData" manually. And yes, you have to white-list Launcher in anti-virus.

Hosting Server Server.bat giving "ERROR: Vehicle extensions (*.veh) are too large" for port forwarding

Is at all?.. Because there should be much more, just take a look at your previous logs in this thread. If there is no more output in server console, that means map loading command is missing from your config. Open config file and make sure it does actually have something like "map mb2_lunarbase"...

Hosting Server Server.bat giving "ERROR: Vehicle extensions (*.veh) are too large" for port forwarding

Wrong. g_gametype for Movie Battles should be always 7, not matter what. Duel mode is active when g_Authenticity is set to 3. Either port forwarding isn't configured properly, or your server is blocked by firewall, or the server is using other port instead of 29070 and you didn't notice that...

Hosting Server Server.bat giving "ERROR: Vehicle extensions (*.veh) are too large" for port forwarding

Yes. Your server is up. You should be able to join it by typing in MBII's console /connect localhost:29070 Other people are supposed to be able to join too (but they must type your external IP INSTEAD OF localhost!!!), but if they can't, that means port forwarding isn't configured correctly.

Technical Issue ERROR: Vehicle extensions (*.veh) are too large*

Not sure what exactly is frustrating, but MBIILauncher does renaming in the same way as Steam itself does: it renames to jamp.exe to jasp.exe, and then runs jasp.exe. So when you're starting Movie Battles via MBIILauncher (or via Steam), you're getting jasp.exe running on your PC, which, in...

lmao basically what Mace said Remove all third-party stuff from "Jedi Academy\GameData\base" and try again. The only files those are supposed to be there are assets0.pk3, assets1.pk3 assets2.pk3, assets3.pk3 and that's it.

How do you run Movie Battles? You should do it using Launcher, by clicking big "Play" button.
