As the title suggests I'm putting together a community frag video, hopefully with a release date around Christmas.
Even though the mode is not as popular as it has been for 2 decades, I would still like to feature as many open mode enjoyers as possible! For that purpose I'd like to ask the mb2 community to go out and record some round demos where you get some awesome/funny kills in the way you enjoy playing the mode. I'm talking KILLING SPREES in quick succession, EPIC snipe shots, EPIC rocket kills, AIR BLOBS, EPIC nade kills, wookiee fury moments, COOL launches that lead into kills (jedi map abusing etc) some general funny or crazy moments... (and if you got any great demos from 2025 already, i'll gladly take them as well).
I've already got a decent amount of cool demos from a lot of players that i'm planning to use, and it would be nice to commemorate the game and open mode, as well as all its active players in case the mode well and truly dies
I'm attaching a screenshot if anyone doesn't know how to capture demos in mb2 yet. All you need to do is have the auto record demos setting set to Yes, then bind either ''save current auto demo'' or ''save last auto demo''. The first option saves the demo of the round that you're currently playing (you can press the bind at any point during the round and it will save the whole round), while the second option saves the previously played round (but of course, you have to press your bind after the round ends).
I'd also appreciate it If you can change the demo auto naming to what I posted in the screenshot, so that its easier to sort and know which jamme version i need to use to be able to use your demo.
Send your demos to me until 30 November on discord (pizer6715) and if you're sending multiple demos, I'd appreciate it if you can pack em up in .zip or .rar or whatever, cheers!
