One of those things you've become so numb to over the years that you don't even notice them anymore. I checked the animation.cfg's frames and they seem correct, so the issue must be elsewhere. Something makes BOTH_DEATH1 (or BOTH_DEATH2 - maybe it happens for both) jump to the first frame of the animations after they have finished playing, or they jump to BOTH_STAND1.
This was an issue with the Droideka even before the model was updated. I remember seeing it back when I started playing this mod 11 years ago. It is still a very valid bug :')
