Fully Customizable Appearance

Is it possible to have fully customizable appearances for players? I don't mind the movie characters but I think it'd be nice to customize appearances.

i guess he means some kind of a character editor from base JKA. like possibility to choose head, torso, legs.

I was working on that few years back, through UI a simple texture change for the skin parts, im sorry to say I never get to finish it. When the massive UI overhaul came in, it did too much on my motivation at the time.

I think @MaceMadunusus has been working on a more solide project related
