updater not working

When launching the movie battles i have to update movie battles so i click through everything for it to download but the updater seems to not work for me or it just takes an adnormal amount of time i let it sit for about 10 mineuts and nothing happened can someone help me

So can you see Launcher when you start it? It appears or not? If it does, make a screenshot.
Redownload Launcher, maybe it's broken:
http://update.moviebattles.org/launcher/MBIILauncher.exe

You can also start mb2 without a Launcher, using Play MBII.bat file which can be found in Jedi Academy\GameData folder.
You can create link for Jedi Academy\GameData\mbii.x86.exe, right click on that link, Properties, add
Code: 
+set fs_game mbii
to the end of command line, launch link.

no i dont get to the launcher i have to update it first
