Release 20 was a massive update, so I am not surprised that some changes may have been left out of the patch notes. Here is what I have found. Some of these may be bugs, but count as balance changes nonetheless. This is for community information, not a post intended to flame the developers. Treat them nicely. I will update this post as I find more.

  • Force Powers
    • Nerf: Lightning no longer deals immediate damages to Jedi through force block using force focus. The damage only occurs when held on the target for slightly longer than a second (the same amount of time needed to fully stun a gunner).
    • Nerf: Grip level 3 takes longer for the grip to take effect after grip lock (about 0.2 seconds).
  • Class Changes
    • Nerf: Droideka ion stun mechanics have been reworked, making it more punishing to get stunned.
      • Clone Ion blast now allows you to shoot through deka shield and hit their health pool like Ion grenade stun during the duration.
      • Ion grenade can fully drain deka shield on a second direct hit (This is currently inconsistent and likely a bug).
    • Nerf: Soldiers no longer have a quicker getup in melee with close combat training.
PSA on building Jedi: Attunement 1 Jedi with Blaster Defense 3 are actually receive higher FP drains against blasters than Attunement 2 Jedi with Blaster Defense 2. Looking at the math, at attunement 2, you have a force pool that is 1.2x higher than at attunement one. Blaster Defense 2 drains are 1.1 times Blaster Defense 3 drains. Since you have a pool that is higher than the penalty to using BD 2, you take a lower percentage FP drain than Attunement 1 BD 3 Jedi. The only benefits you get from BD 3 are the lack of penalty on air shots and the wider blocking radius.
