[SOLVED] Unable to start the game ever since Version 1.8

Greetings!

As title says, I was able to perfectly run and play the game until I updated the launcher to its latest 1.8 version. Now the game just closes by itself without even getting to the main menu and without any warning or error message.

Try repairing the files through launcher.

Other than that, try using the MB:II client instead of JAMP.

make sure you have tried opening the game up to 10 times, a common bug with jamp+steam is an immediate close after launching which works after a few tries

That worked, thanks! Unfortunately, all the settings were reset to default... again... but at least now it works!

I also had to re-browse the folder location, so perhaps there was an issue with that too.
