Are we idiots? What right does a single individual have to delete an entire gamemode? Is he a god? No. Is he a man? Let me tell you something. I've been around for a long time, and in my travels I have met plenty of people. How can i judge a man who would willingly erase something another man holds so dear. How could I (how could I) judge a man who would take hundreds upon hundreds of another man's work hours dedicated to a project conceived out of pure passion, and throw them in the bin. The garbage bin. The bin of Death (of death), the Bin of Void, and endless blackness (not a racial thing).
Does Supremacy need work? Absolutely. Is 2c blameless? Definitely not. Do I sometimes watch Episode IV Leia scenes on loop because I like seeing her bra-less boobs bounce around under the white dress? Possibly. But then again, don't we all?
Here's my question to you: Is MB2 better or worse with an entirely new, fleshed out gamemode in it?
We have to think of the players, they should always be the priority.
You cannot say under good conscience that the removal of Supremacy was done with the players in mind, for:
1) There was a portion of the community who hosted events where said gamemode was played weekly (freaky server).
2) There is nothing about the gamemode (bugs, crashes, other problems) that would justify its removal.
I have to ask, shouldn't MB2's best interest be the Project Leader's main priority? Because looking at recent events, I think personal issues became the priority instead. And we all know 2c has his fair share of those, but a Project Leader should be able to rise above them and think of what's best for MB2, what's best for the players. I won't sit here and pretend i'm a 2c fan, cuz i ain't. But I'm a MB2 fan, and I think Supremacy is a good addition to it.
I therefore open this up to the community, since the previous post got locked under the justification of being off-topic. Well, here's a new thread to deal with said topic.
