Do you want to become a Beta Tester?
A critical part of any new release is thorough testing of changes or new features. These tests do not only support the efforts of eliminating bugs before release, but is also aimed at providing useful, constructive, and much needed feedback on the usefulness of the new features and their effect on general game play and balance.
The importance of thorough Beta Testing for MBII therefore cannot be overstated. Every member of the community is aware of at least a few instances where some bugs have slipped through testing or some features have been met with frustration! While plans for Open Beta will continue to advance for large scale pre-release feedback, the controlled internal beta testing is a critical and irreplaceable part of the early to middle stages of development.
As such, the MBII Team is looking for members of the community to contribute in the development of feature releases in a very important way: by joining the Internal Beta Team!
All Beta Testers work on a voluntary basis however working on a volunteer project like this will look great on a CV if you are interested in pursuing a career in an associated industry!

- a little bit about yourself, including your age and where you are from
- your MBII experience
- your time availability, especially during weekends

- Regularly able to attend beta tests and provide feedback on game play and functional game changes
- Finding and reporting bugs throughout the development life-cycle.
- Checking the forums once a week and posting attendance availability for beta tests
- Enthusiasm to improve MBII
- Time availability to attend testing
- Ability to post constructive feedback
- Good knowledge of MBII game play
- Able to communicate well in English
