Since the newest patch one has been able to activate saber instantly after grip ends. I've noticed this does not always work. If you try to "struggle" (pressing m1/m2 to active saber during being gripped so it would active ASAP once grip ends) but this struggling can delay that and even get you stuck in grip animation. I do not think this should happen and may even confuse players.
