Make sure you do have MBIILauncher.exe in "Jedi Academy\GameData" folder.
Make sure path in MB Launcher => Settings => GameData path is correct.
Make sure you do have folder "Jedi Academy\GameData\MBII" and there are packages (files .pk3, thousands of them!) inside it.

If Launcher still says MBII isn't installed, that means more likely Launcher's files are damaged. Click Install, wait till installation will be completed.
Launcher won't download files that you already have.

If you missing some files, and Launcher downloads them too slow, download MBII from here:
Star Wars: Movie Battles II v1.3.2 Full download
It should be fast.
Also when i launch the game from the game itself (via mods)
You shouldn't do it. Run game using Launcher, Steam, .bat file or shortcut.
Command line parameters you must add to jamp.exe, mbii.x86.exe or openjk.x86.exe to launch Movie Battles II:
Code:
+set fs_game "MBII"
There is no need to deal with command line parameters if you start MBII via Launcher, but any other way requires them.
every player has a "jesus stance"
Copy the file z_MB_BaseAssets.pk3 from your MBII folder into "Jedi Academy\GameData\base" folder.
