[OUT OF SCOPE] Join bug

So I've noticed that if there is a map change and I pick the same side and same class that I had before the map change, the game won't let me join.
I know this bug has been around for a while but is there any permanent solution to this?I hate that I have 10 seconds to change a class 2 times to play with what I want and sometimes it starts to lag while doing so, and I end up having a class I didn't want to be with.

It's a bug that's been around since forever and generally not consistently reproducible. Only way to fix it would be refactoring the join code, which I wouldn't hold your breath for.
