this game runs perfectly fine on my old cpu (vista) but on my new one (windows 10) it just closes the application and says "program is not set to optimal resolution (1680 x 1050) and i need someone to give me a file with that res set or at least tell me how to change it with a text editor or something, this is pissing me off so much the game would run perfectly fine if it didn't auto-close it and bloody let me change the settings RRRRRRRRR
***UPDATE***
turns out the resolution was not making the program close, it was just crashing constantly and i couldnt see the crash due to resolution, which i changed in the jmpconfic file.
the fix for the crash was found here Game crashes on start up :: Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy General Discussions
and it basically made it so you had opengl32 and made the game work with later systems.
