Technical Issue Getting lag every time there's action around me

Been noticing ever since the patch dropped that I'll start lagging whenever there's some sort of action around me. As soon as the action goes away, the game runs smooth. Frames are skipping or something. I'm not sure, but my ping doesn't shoot up. I've set my rate to 25000, my snaps is set to 40. Not entirely sure what the issue is, or if I can even fix it. I didn't notice the issue starting though until the patch dropped.

I've attached some screenshots of my lagometer in game, so you guys can see what it does whenever there's action around me.

Have you tried turning dynamic lights and dynamic glow off?

I just had the same problem and did that but nothing changed it was still extremely laggy

Problem seems to have gone away now, I'll report if it changes.

Any idea why this has changed since the last patch?

The updated saber effects seem to have pushed the engine a little beyond what it can handle. It'll be addressed in a hotfix soon
