Technical Issue Does any1 play on macOS?

Hey community,

I tried to play MB2 on Intel Mac and unfortunately it's not that easy.

I followed all the steps from the moviebattles.org and on (GUIDE) How to install MBII on MAC but I'm still getting the following error: "ERROR: Client/Server game mismatch: basejka-1/Movie Battles II V1.9.1.1".

I also compiled OpenJK for Mac and for non-MB2 server it works perfectly.

P.S. I tried virtualization (Parallels/VMWare but it sucks). Bootcamp is not the case. I'd like to run MB2 natively.

I would be grateful for any advices / recommendations. I'm a technical person, so the technical recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks!

No - MB2 is 32bit. We don't have the hardware required to be able to test and support 64bit only Macs. You will either need to revert to a version of OSX which still supports 32bit binaries or bootcamp Windows or Linux.

Thanks, I'll try with the Crossover because it's based on Wine (not virtualized) so maybe it will work smoothly...

@Defiant, have you tried Github Actions? They allow building repos on 64-bit Macs.

Cheers!
