Hello all,
Just coming back to MB after a long break. I use Steam and I still have Movie Battles installed, not updated for probably over 6 months. I download the latest Launcher and straight away it says there is an update available. Ok, that's to be expected. However, I'm now sat here for the 5th time of it saying there is an update available. No errors have shown up, there just seems to be an endless amount of updates.
Is there something wrong with the Launcher?
Surely it would grab the latest update and just apply that then I'm good to go, right?
Edit: I've enabled Logs and have found that each time I've run the Launcher it detects an update -
INFO: Found version info file > 1.3.2.1 hats
INFO: Launcher checks for new version
INFO: New version detected current is: 1.3.2.1 hats new is 1.4.3 hotfix
However, when the update starts I get:
ERROR: Connection timedout/file not found
On every file.
Final Edit: Completely removed Movie Battles, installed manually, no use of Launcher, and it works.
