Launcher An app on your PC needs .NET 3.5

whenever i try to use the launcher, even as admin, windows features pops up and says that an app requires .net 3.5. if i try to download it, the install fails. If i skip, nothing happens and the launcher doesn't work. I have .net 4.0 installed on the computer currently.

What do I do now?

This looks like a problem with your Windows Installation.

This is the correct link for the .NET 3.5 installer, if it different to the link you've been using you could try this and see if it works:

Otherwise please provide any detailed error messages and we'll help the best we can, but there may not be a lot of advice we can give.
