Why should the obvious exception be knockdowns? Why does it always *have* to be knockdowns. Why not something *instead* of knockdowns that removes some control? I'd rather have something like the effects of being dazed. You could still aim and shoot, walk, but you'd lose temporarily control...

What we need is...more poison! Different poison! What about a new poison dart that does the dmg over time, but doesn't stop force regen! You keep on regenerating. Instead, it just prevents you from using force powers, including force jump. Think like when you pick up the remote on tatooine...

Outside of goofing off and support - the first thing I look at is score. Tells you whose doing the killing and surviving. Tells you who needs to start dying first. Grinds my gears.
