[SOLVED] Changing map using console causes error.

That's pretty strange, and I'm not sure what could cause it. But anyway, hosting server via in-game menus or commands in client isn't generally recommended; just use standard method -- hosting using jampded.exe/openjkded.x86.exe: Hosting Server: Windows

    New blood has arrived

Yep No, while connection settings may have some impact on gane itself, there should no situation when any value of those settings causes server list list to be empty. That why I asked to open a console If JA isn't patched, it will crash on key combination. If it's already 1.01, it won't crash.

    Technical Issue Overflow fixes

Just to be clear: Movie Battles II actually allows users to CHOOSE an engine to run, it could be either: MBII Client, which is fork of OpenJK, which, in turn, is fork of jamp.exe from Jedi Academy, or Original jamp.exe, build by Ravensoft in 2003, or jaMME by @ent. So we can say that MBII...

Real talk, the future of MBII and ...

Just cleaned it up a little bit more. Once again, guys: DO NOT posts any insults or offensive comments, especially racist ones. DO NOT make it personal in any way. This thread is about timelimit (and some other stuff SeV mentioned in OP), so stick with it. Discuss ideas, not people.

Real talk, the future of MBII and ...

This is extremely sad to read. I don't believe in restricting gameplay, especially in *further* restricting. That will only leads to disappointment, which, in turn, will make people leave MBII. You can't force anybody to like what you like. Today's trands for locking and restricting is cancer :(.

Real talk, the future of MBII and ...

Because this is my opinion on your opinion (no xzibit intended). On a serious note, it's just a little shocking, those things you said. I used to treat duel mode as something big, something that is approved by everybody, something... something... that is undeniable good... and now talking it's...

Real talk, the future of MBII and ...

Dude, are you serious?! You "never liked" a mode, that seems to be more popular than older mode, FA? Mode that obviously has its own playerbase, which, in turn, increases playerbase of whole MBII? And duel mode also helped to make open mode better, cause I remember what it was like to play open...

    [SOLVED] Laucher doesnt work.

That's gonna be hard... Something wrong with your OS. It could be anti-virus blocking Launcher, or virus, or system libraries became damaged for some reason. Since there is no any detailed information about these crashes at all, fixing it really isn't easy. Go to Start => Control Panel =>...

    Hosting Server Limit Time

Basically what Vis said So just start MBII and type BOTH those two lines. You'll get some output *only* after second command ("rcon map..."). It will be either map change or "bad password" message.
