Yeah, one of the new extra ability buttons could be set as a mode switch.

That being said, hanging out in Melee quick-swapping between the two weapons makes for a fun anti-Jedi strategy.

fix having to jump to start jet pack as well please
I previously posted suggesting this (tertiary ability button for jetpack activation) but personally I've kinda changed my mind since then. I kinda like the jetpack having that moment of vulnerability to push, and making you a little predictable about where you'll be a moment after jetpacking.

No definitive reasoning for it though. Could go either way. It would certainly be stronger just by virtue of having more options if you could activate it instantly from the ground. Maybe I prefer not adding more options to that situation. Maybe it's just totally arbitrary attachment to "the way things are."

Jetpack activation requiring jumping is just fine, for reasons stated above by lessen

Deactivating your jetpack being broken for a while after sniping and reloading with the carbine getting fixed would be neat. At least I think it was a sniper rifle reload related issue.
