Strangely popular maps & player friendly servers

American Continent has:​

• 5 duel servers​
• 13 open servers​
• 2 full authentic servers​

OPEN MODE & FA Maps eagerly used on american servers:
- 1st place ex aequo! mb2_deathstar & mb2_dotf (each being used by 3 servers, 22 percent of total amount of american servers).
- 2nd spot mb2_commtower (used by 2 servers, 14 percent of all of the american servers).
- 3rd place mb2_kamino, mb2_jeditemple, mb2_boc, mb2_echobase, mb2_lunarbase, mb2_tantiveiv (they appear sporadically each of them 1 at a time).

DUEL Maps used by americans:
- no doubles here each one 20 percent (mb2_duel_rcbridge, mb2_duel_jeditemple, mb2_duel_malachor, mb2_duel_training, mb2_duel_dotf).

in total 20 servers - 3 of them supporting RTV.
Rest is owner dependant meaning map will change on request of playing people
or after certain time. Places like this are empty most of the time.​

In Europe we have:​

• 4 duel servers​
• 17 open servers​
• 5 full authentic servers​

OPEN MODE & FA Maps eagerly used on european servers:
- 1st place 'was there ever any doubt?' mb2_dotf (each being used by 5 servers, 24 percent of total amount of european servers).
- 2nd spot mb2_echobase (used by 2 servers, 10 percent of all of the european places).
- 3rd place mb2_mustafar, mb2_commtower, mb2_lunarbase, mb2_yavinassault, mb2_cmp_zombiehorror, mb2_duel_mustafar, um_goodandevil, duel_kamino, mb2_duel_jeditemple, mb2_undeadstar, mb2_hoth, jp_siteb, um_bouncy, mb2_aod_tournament (worth 5 percent each, one server at a time).

DUEL Maps used by europeans:
- 1st place 75 percent duel_dotf
- 2nd place mb2_duel_training 25 percent of all european dueling servers

in total 26 servers - 15 of them supporting RTV.
Rest depends on the owners. They have preset rotations etc.​

Pointing out none of the servers is currently using maps like mb2_:
cloudcity, smuggler, corellia, alderaan, coruscant_chase, enclave, jabba, tatooine, theed, eravana, republiccruiser, tradefed

I would like to play something else...
Cloudcity would do great. Corellia would be fine. Just not Duel Of The Fates everyday like a curse.

dotf on duel mode is fine. Its the only good map for it.

Also, duel_training is hardly used. I would say that its dotf 99% of the time.

If you want to name the least used map in MB2, that's the one. It has horrible balance, though. I wish something was done to it to make it better.

If you want to play at some particular map - go to any rtv server, change the map and hope that somebody will join you.

Well, just add another exit from Reb spawn corridor somewhere. With only one exit they are toast from the Imps waiting for them outside camping all over the map.

You listed some maps you'd like to see more of that aren't used, of them smuggler, coruscant_chase, enclave, theed, and republiccruiser are all already in the map rotation on CB rotation

Smuggler with 30 people was a hilarious nightmare.

Global warming... is still going on but, we have more important things to pay attention to. Russians and Arabs ran out of natural resources, they are now knotting out of wool to make up for money making the budget hole. Life beyond Earth has been discovered, unfortunately it still too shy to show itself yet. Ukraine agreed to stop bombaring Kamczatka. President of Bermuda Triangle Union has been accused of driving a boat on wrong fuel. Jungllering with a chainsaw is now a valid profession. North Korea is holding a science festival going by the title "enriched uranium gimme" (so glad sience is bringing different cultures togheter.) Going on, making a P2W game is now a federal crime. Doctor Mengele received a peace noble prize for first succesful human - monkey hearth transplant (monkey lives). New currency have been globally introduced after late fall of european assemble. THE rolling Stonz they lie around - no need to print anymore. Guy DDosing our servers got hanged on a lamp. Some lived happily ever after, it was fun. FIN.

Most maps need to be reworked anyway. Most of them are terribly unbalanced.
