[SOLVED] Step by Step guide for a Dedicated Linux Server?

Hey all, I'd really like to get a JKA/MB2 server going but I can't really find any documentation on how to get started.

I followed some really bad/old instructions and got so far as managing to get core dump errors when I try to run linuxjampded. If anyone could give a hand step by step for me and any others that'd be really helpful!

The server is running Ubuntu 15.04.

If you're willing to use openjk, the tutorial on setting up RPi server is coming - many things are exactly same for non-RPi server hosting (and it should be quite clear which parts are referring to Pi).

For your question now, short version is:

Code:
<whatever_bin_are_you_using>.i386 +set fs_game "MBII" +set dedicated 2 +exec server.cfg

...while server.cfg must be something that lives in directory that server search for configs (MBII for jamp.exe or /home/user/.local/share/openjk in debian, no idea about ubuntu, but shouldn't be hard to find).
