Hello, new to Movie Battles II!

Hi there everybody!

I've been playing various multiplayer Jedi Knight games for over a decade now, but this is the first time I've ventured into Movie Battle II after a few years away from Jedi Academy. I did try jumping in to a Duel mode after reading some of the guides, but I was still pretty overwhelmed by it all. I noticed a server message that there was a training session at 8pm GMT on Saturday but unfortunately had to miss it. Is this a standard weekly event, or should I just keep my eye out?

At the very least, I need to work out why I kept spawning without a lightsaber equipped despite having apparently selected everything properly!

Hi @Menome, welcome to MBII.

You probably kept spawning without a saber due to a class bug, happens occasionally. Either that, or you didn't switch from melee to your saber.

As well, don't feel bad if you can't duel well, I still can't do it, and I've been playing for...how many- right, 6 years.

EDIT: Oops, forgot it's 2016, I meant 7 years.
